About Matthew
Me = Artist & father of six. My 5 boys & 1 girl: Milo, Autry, Finlay, Declan, Parson and Talullah. Going on 27 years of professional design services, I've experienced all sides of the creative process. I still wake up needing to create. The drive to have to sketch and shade, the excitement of pairing fonts, or drawing paths in Illustrator. I truly love to design and help clients achieve their goals in branding from concepts to seeing it run off the press. My passion for art stems from my childhood of countless hours of drawing and the 4 season farm I grew up on. Located in Southern California now, I appreciate all of the midwest values instilled in me as child as I execute design. I appreciate the seasons and the details of life as these elements reflect in my designs. It's not simple type or random pictures, but it's a story in the design; a reason that causes a reaction to the viewer that is enduring. Design that causes you to step back, or to think and ultimately gets you excited about art. Design is contiguous, we are attracted to good design and that is what I want to create for each person I work with.
